Minimal Pixel Size determined by Nyquist Sampling

Adjusting the field size (“XY”) to 56 µm with

the 63× lens, would produce a pixel size of

0.1 µm

Field size can be adjusted by changing the objective magnification, or by optical zooming. Changing

from 63 × to 100 × will reduce the field size, but will also reduce the amount of light available.
